Day 1
📍Chengdu, Arrival
🐼Upon arriving in Chengdu, your private guide will meet you and escort you to your hotel for a rest. You may be interested in a delicious dinner of Sichuan cuisine at a local restaurant on your own.
Day 2
📍Chengdu City Tour With Pandas
🐼Commence the morning at the Giant Panda Breeding Research Base, where you'll be greeted by the adorable giant pandas in their lush enclosures. Watch as these charming creatures playfully tumble around, munch on bamboo, and interact in the most endearing ways.
Next up, pay a visit to the Chengdu Museum, a wonderful place to dive into the rich history and culture of the city. The museum itself is a marvel of modern design, and inside, you'll find exhibits that bring Chengdu's rich past and vibrant present to life.
After exploring the museum, it's time to relax at the People's Park. Picture yourself sitting in a cozy tea house, sipping a fragrant cup of tea, and watching locals engage in their favorite pastimes like Mahjong and Tai Chi.
Finally, you will head to Jinli Old Street for a delightful end to the day. Stroll along this lively street, where you can taste some of Chengdu's best local snacks and marvel at traditional crafts.
Day 3
📍Chengdu - Leshan - Mt. Emei
🐼You will start with a 2-hour drive to the awe-inspiring Leshan Giant Buddha. This colossal 71-meter-tall statue, carved right into a cliff face between 713 and 803 A.D., is a breathtaking sight to behold. You will enjoy a relaxing boat cruise with a panoramic view of this ancient marvel from the river.
After soaking in the grandeur of the Giant Buddha, you will drive to Mount Emei, one of China's four sacred Buddhist mountains. Here, you will explore the historic Baoguo Temple. Nestled at the mountain's base, this tranquil temple offers an introductory understanding of the spiritual life of ancient China.
To top off the day, spend the night at the foot of Mount Emei.
Day 4
📍Mt. Emei - Chengdu
🐼Today's adventure takes you to the breathtaking Golden Summit of Mount Emei. Begin with a private car ride to the tourist center, then hop on an eco-bus for a scenic 1.5-2 hour drive up the mountain.
Upon reaching Leidongping, enjoy walking about half an hour to the cable car station. Board the cable car for a stunning ride to the Golden Summit, where you'll find the awe-inspiring 48-meter-tall golden statue of Samantabhadra Bodhisattva and the historic Huazang Temple from the 1st century.
Explore the majestic temples, take in panoramic views of the mountain, and immerse yourself in Buddhist traditions. After your time at the summit, you'll descend the mountain by cable car and take the eco-bus back to the tourist center, where your private vehicle will be waiting to transfer you back to Chengdu.
Day 5
