Jiuzhaigou Scenic Area, located in the Aba Tibetan and Qiang Autonomous Prefecture in Sichuan Province, is a popular tourist destination. Situated in the northeastern side of Gonggangling, the southern section of the Min Mountains, Jiuzhaigou is a large tributary of the Baishuijiang River, the headwater of the Jialing River, which is part of the Yangtze River system.
