Itineraries
Day 1
📍Chengdu - Ya'an
In the morning, your private tour guide and driver will collect you from your hotel in Chengdu and accompany you to Ya'an, home to the Bifengxia Panda Base.🚩
En route to the panda base, stop at Shangli Ancient Town. With origins dating back over a millennium, it features traditional wooden buildings, cobblestone streets, and tranquil waterways. Take a leisurely walk along the shop-lined alleys nestled among charming old-style architecture. Discover a serene spot to unwind with a cup of tea or sample local snacks.🚩
Later, arrive at Bifengxia Panda Base and participate in a pre-work training session for your panda care experience program. Here, you'll learn the daily tasks performed by the staff, receive your participant's clothes and gloves, and go through the necessary procedures to ensure you are well-prepared.🚩
Day 2
📍Ya'an - Chengdu
Today, at Bifengxia Panda Base, you can observe giant pandas thriving in their natural habitat. Seize this rare chance to embark on your meaningful giant panda care activities and contribute to their conservation efforts. The activities will typically involve exploring panda yards, discovering fascinating stories and facts about giant pandas, visiting the Scientific & Educational Museum of Giant Panda, tidying work areas, and replenishing fresh bamboo.🚩
After lunch at the panda base, relax and watch documentaries about giant pandas. Later, learn how to prepare panda cakes and craft these treats for the adorable creatures with assistance from the staff. You can also create a panda-themed handicraft. Wrap up your experience with a group photo and receive your panda care certificate to commemorate this special moment.🚩
Once your panda tour concludes, you will be transferred back to Chengdu.
